Carbon fibre offers improved comfort over steel or aluminium by reducing the amount of impact and vibration transmitted to your hands. This will also reduce the onset of fatigue in the upper body. A good pair of forks also reduces weight and improves the response of the steering. There are even some available now with true aerodynamic profiles which reduce front end drag and can reduce your times when racing against the clock
Further refined for this year, we have shaved 92g off the weight by using an alloy steerer, also the dropouts are now eyeleted for mudguards. This high quality fork performs superbly at all levels of cyclocross and makes a great touring fork too.
