Cannondale SIX 13 Pro & Slice Premium Carbon
More about Cannondale

RRP: £1,129
Year: to 2006

Description: The Six13 Pro is a superlight race frame that combines cutting edge technology with exotic materials to provide the rider with a new experience. Utilizing Alcoa Alcalyte aluminium for the top tube and the double butted, tapered seat tube. The Head tube and bottom bracket shell have been CNC machined, the use of a carbon fibre down tube provides both lightweight stiffness and road vibration damping in the most critical performance region of the frame. The Pro also utilizes boron near the head tube to provide similtaneous strength and weight loss. The rear triangle features aero hourglass seat stays and tapered and butted chain stays which help air flow and offer a little vertical compliance. To finish off the rear triangle a pair of minimalist forged dropouts help keep the weight to a minimum. A replaceable gear hanger comes as standard. Up front there is a pair of Cannondale Slice Premium carbon forks. These are 100% carbon fibre, including the drop outs. These are superlight forks with a blade profile which aids airflow and cuts down on wind resistance.

Bottom bracket size: 68mm
Head tube length: 163mm
Front mech size: 34.9mm
Seat post size: 27.2mm
