 RRP: £499 Year: to 2006 Description: The Cannondale Si cranksets have been designed to provide exceptional pedalling performance from a lightweight crankset. The Si incorporates an oversized bottom bracket shell and spindle with a splined interface between the spindle and crank arms for extra strength. Cannondale have been utilizing the benefits of oversized external bearings for over 13 years, something that their competitors have only started to emulate in the last few years. The use of large tubing means a thinner wall can be used, this translates into a stiffer and lighter set up. The large section Hollowgram crankarms are light and extremely stiff, transferring all of the riders input through the drivetrain and to the rear wheel, resulting in better pedaling efficiency and less rider fatigue.
