 RRP: £419 Year: to 2006 Description: When it comes to road bikes one name stands tall above the rest. Cannondale, the bench mark by which all others are measured.The R700 CAAD 5 frame is a lightweight aluminium race frame. Using Alcoa Alcalyte tubing and featuring Cannondale's Power Pyramid downtube. The head tube and bottom bracket shell have been CNC machined. The rear triangle features hourglass seat stays and butted chain stays. A replaceable gear hanger comes as standard. Up front you get a pair of Cannondale Slice Si Ultra carbon forks. These super light forks have a blade profile to cut through the air , providing excellent aerodynamics. The forged aluminium dropouts have been bonded into the fork legs for superior strength. An F.S.A headset is included along with Cannondale carbon stem spacers.
