 RRP: £979 Year: to 2006 Description: The Gemini brings Cannondale’s trademark aluminum engineering and Made-in-the-USA passion to the freeride bike category.
The Gemini’s innovative frame is TIG-welded and heat-treated using 6061-T6 aluminum and features a delta main frame/twin triangle construction for strength and increased stand-over.
An internally butted downtube provides greater durability at the headtube and bottom bracket welds, and a full-length seattube improves durability compared to interrupted-tube designs.
The Gemini’s burly, externally butted headtube is designed to accept one point five, HeadShok and standard 1-1/8” steerers(1-1/8" adapters sold separately).
An international standard chain-retention mount is integrated into the Gemini bottom bracket shell.
Multiple shock mounts on the swingarm make 150mm, or 170mm of rear wheel travel possible using the same 7-7/8” (20.0cm) eye-to-eye shock.
Thru-12 Axle. Boosts swingarm stiffness. Exclusive to Cannondale, our Thru-12 axle is ovalized on one end to eliminate rotation in the rear dropout.
International standard disc brake mounts.
