The Rogate uses the superb Windtex fabric on the front and then uses HydroFit fabric for the rest of the body. This combination of fabrics results in a jersey that is perfect for use on its own, or combined with a baselayer will offer perfect protection on those cold winter days.

At first glance the Rogate looks like a normal jersey with a handy full length zipper, but below the it's good looking surface there is a technical addition all riders will appreciate. A Windtex fabric front stops wind chilling you whilst HydroFit fabric for the rest of the body allows plenty of stretch for a good fit and stops you over heating.

We tested the Rogate under a variety of temperatures and conditions and found it be a really versatile and comfortable jacket. We reckon it'll get plenty of use from autumn through to spring, with a variation in baselayers we were warm and dry as long as it wasn't raining.

other nice features include the full length zip, perfect for controlling heat escape and with an internal flap to keep out draughts. The top of the zip has an enclosure to avoid contact with your neck or chin and the collar is fleece lined too for added comfort. The cuffs are elasticated for a good fit and the jacket generally has loads of panels for ergonomic reasons and a close fit.

Pockets are well positioned and not too deep to cause issues with acces whilst riding along, there are two on the rear with an additional zip pocket for kets etc, plus a chest pocket with internal routing option for an MP3 player or phone wires. There are reflective logos on the front and rear and maybe a couple of bits of reflective piping would be welcomed here for additional safety on the road? Finally the waist has a gripper at the rear to reduce the chance of the jacket riding up whilst your pedalling.
