Camelbak 2008

Camelbak

Continuing the evolution (or is that devolution?) into traditional water bottles, is the Podium Bottle. Unlike the flip-up/flip-down design of the Classic bottle, the Podium employs a simpler twist mechanism. Two sizes, 620 and 710ml, and three colours will be available.

But ensuring the company continue to remain at the forefront of hydration pack developments, the new HOSS is the first pack to make use of the company's new DVIS Back Panel. Six articulated and spring loaded pads spread the weight of the bag across the rider's back. The other benefit is the cavity that is created for increased airflow leading, hopefully, to a less sweaty back. Initially only available in the £110 HOSS 25L pack with a roll-top closure, fully expect the feature to be expanded to other bags in the company's range in good time.

We hear there are new women specific designs coming and if they are anylike our Dream pack we'll be super pleased to test them out asap - Ed.

I like the odd glass (aherm!) of wine but am finding I am gradually putting on a bit of weight again.  I don't eat too much and don't munch sweeties all the time so I was wondering if the old vino is what's making me gradually put on weight - especially round my middle.

I go to the gym regular and ride my bikes as much as possible but still the weight is slowly gaining.  Anyone else suffer this annoyance ?  and how much is too much ?

Also, I've just been told I've got slightly high cholesterol so am a bit worried about drinking although don't want to stop entirely.  Any advice appreciated.

Cheers
