Edinburgh Castle will form the impressive backdrop for the Fat Face Night Race on 6 October 2007. The urban DH race will begin in the grounds of the castle and race through handlebar-width alleyways, rattle down steps and wreak havoc on the streets before finishing in the Grassmarket area of the city.
The Night Race will be the final round of the Fat Face multisport series which has already seen surfers, mountain boarders and windsurfers do their thing. The 250 riders will include the cream of the British crop, including Junior World Champion Ruaridh Cunningham, Nigel Page, Gee and Rachel Atherton.
