The Baci Short is a well thought-out design for a comfortable, firm fitting, affordable cycling short.
The “performance lycra” used on these shorts is soft to the touch and so quick drying that they are one of the most comfortable cycling shorts I have worn. As a result they are flexible and move easily with the body without restriction.
A chamois is critical when considering a pair of cycling shorts and the Baci excels in this department. The seamless “Impact 8 chamois” is well designed with a “silky” feel and just the right amount of padding and being well positioned further back, sufficiently covering the sit-bones. This chamois also has long-term antibacterial properties with an exceptional ability to absorb impact.
The inner seam length of the leg is comfortable and the silicone leg grippers keep the legs in place without cutting in like some other designs can do. The high waisted design features a drawstring to help alleviate the waistband from rolling and to keep them in place.
