Gore Bike Wear specialize in making tough no-nonsense riding gear from all weather Gore-Tex outers to well thought out accessories such as arm-warmers and helmet covers. The high collar is shaped to fit your neck and is super cosy when zipped right up against draughts and winter winds.
The Thermopower fabric has a wonderfully soft and lightweight fleece interior which is great for wicking sweat away from the skin and keeping you pleasantly warm and dry. The fabric has loads of stretch and a low rear fit so you don't get any uncomfortable gaps whilst in the riding position and the raglan shoulder design allows full forward stretch.
The front has two zips an upper one in the usual neck position and one that opens from the bottom with a mesh flap to avoid all the other trail riders seeing your belly. With both zippers opened fully only the central and bra section is undercover, giving almost as much ventilation as a full zipper jersey, yet without any of the flapping fabric and poor aerodynamic qualities.
Other great features include the concealed zippered rear pocket, with respectable storage space although the tiny hole prevents bulky items being stored, elasticated cuffs and hem and reflective accents on the front, rear and sleeves.
