Ride the Pyrenees with Exodus

Ride the Tour stages with Exodus

Travel experts Exodus are giving you the chance to ride two complete Pyrenean stages of the 2007 Tour de France as well as watch sections of the race live. Exodus has teamed up with Pyrenees and cycling specialist James Thompson to offer this chance to be part of the world's most spectacular cycle event.

Based in the Ariege and Haute Garonne area of the Pyrenees, during this week long trip there will be the opportunity to ride two complete stages (14 and 15) of the official 2007 route a day or two behind the Tour itself. Cycling amidst the dramatic scenery of the Pyrenees including various excellent mountain cols, the route reaches a height of 2,073 metres providing stunning views across the mountains and down into the foothills.

During the tour watch the exciting mountain top stage finish at the Plateau de Beille and the stage start at Foix the next morning both from well chosen vantage points. For those wanting to push themselves further there are plenty of extra climbs and descents through the mountainous landscape.

Tour de France special - NEW seven day escorted cycling tour for £1,030 per person - Depart 19 July 2007 only. This price includes return international flights, four nights hotel and two nights gite accommodation, seven breakfasts, one lunch and seven dinners. For those wanting to make their own travel arrangements, the land only price is £875 per person. This tour is classified Grade C (Strenuous). Bike hire in France is £100. Trip code MWA729.

To book this or any other Exodus itineraries to over 90 countries, call Exodus on 0870 950 0029 or visit www.exodus.co.uk.

Hello!

Your site was recommended and I just joined. I am an avid cyclist from Boulder, Colorado and will be spending the fall semester in London (law school, but don't hold that against me). I am very active with women's cycling in our community, so I really appreciate your site - very cool!!

I will be bringing my cross bike and am hoping to meet some people to ride with. I am also looking for a room to rent and would prefer to live with someone who rides than another law student!! Not sure if this is an appropriate forum to ask about that, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I look forward to learning about the London cycling community this fall!
