Patterson Training and Endorfin Bikes UK are pleased to announce their new bike
sponsorship deal, which will see top female XC and endurance racer Jenn O'Connor on
board a hand-built Endorfin VP-4 Lady full suspension race bike.
Endorfin will join a strong line up of Patterson
Training Race Team sponsors including Altura,
shower brand Rada and PowerBar. Jenn and her partner, Sport Scientist Andrew
Patterson, launched the Patterson Training
Race Team earlier this season.
The VP-4 Jenn frames uses the tubing and
geometry of Endorfin's highly acclaimed
female-specific VP-4 Lady, but with a DT
Swiss SSD Carbon rear shock and titanium
bolts throughout, bringing the frame weight
down to a shade over five pounds. The frame will be built up using high specification
componentry from team co-sponsors
Panaracer, Hope, SRAM, Rock Shox and Crank
Brothers, along with specialist parts from
Tune, AX Lightness, Syntace and Schmolke.
Says Jenn “We know we can build it under 22
pounds, and with a bit of imagination we're
sure we can go even lighter than that.”

Adele from Endorfin Bikes distributor Nomark
Distribution says “The VP-4 suspension
platform is ideal for XC and marathon racing
and it's great to have such an accomplished
racer as Jenn riding an Endorfin. The brand
has hit the UK with a bang thanks to some
excellent magazine reviews and now it has a
great chance to shine on the race circuit too.”
