Wednesday 23rd May saw the 4th round of the Quest Women's series take place at Hillingdon. This time the weather was very pleasant and not to forget very warm, this perhaps is the reason why there were nearly 30 riders, a high number compared to the previous Quest Women's round.
In the first few laps everyone stayed together, then attacks started to happen, Jeanette Caldicott and Hannah Bussey, both from Team Luciano, protagonised some of the attacks, Charlotte Blackman (London Dynamo) attempted several attacks too, unfortunately not many riders followed therefore she was dragged back into the bunch. PlanetX-SheCycles riders were most of the time at the front, along with Jane Kilmartin (Rapha/Condor) and others. The sprint started at the climb towards the finish line, here all the riders were trying there best. Finally the finish line saw Mo O'Reilly again (winner of round 3) take first place, followed by Emily Hogge (P.P.V) and Kelly Moore (Interbike), and the rest of the main sprint bunch.
