Specialized Challenge Series is taking place this weekend at Gwydyr Forest, Snowdonia in conjunction with the Snowdonia Bike Festival, there is tonnes to do and a women specific event on Saturday with demo bikes and a women's ride.
Specialized and Giant have teamed up for a demo weekend with bikes for men and women specific bikes available for you to demo for free.
Saturday's Specialized Women's Challenge
Saturday sees the second Specialized Women's event of the season and a specific
Women's Challenge ride over 10km of suberb trails in Gwydyr Forest, Snowdonia. You can ride the Women's Challenge throughout Saturday, there is no set time to ride so you get to ride when you fancy and with who you like too. The £5 entry fee includes a free place for your riding partner/SO/mate so you don't have to ride alone. Each female competitor will receive a goodie bag, medal and certificate plus why not test out a women specific demo bike too - head for the Giant or Specialized tent to sign up.
The women's event on Saturday is part of a bigger Specialized Challenge event, you can ride the Women's event on Saturday and then if you're game you can have a bash at one of the longer rides on Sunday. There is also skills coaching available - sign up on the day.
Want to come but need a riding partner?
