Gabby Day is the rising star of UK women's cyclo-cross. Gabby is the National
Series champion ('06/'07), UK number 1 and World Ranked 19. Gabby is now in
her second year with British pro road team, Global
Racing Team.
Being based in Belgium for much of the year, Gabby has been able to train with
World Number 3 rider, and team mate, Helen Wyman (check
out her cross bike).
This year, Global Racing Team have been sponsored by Omnipex,
and provided with Billato bikes. These top of line racing bikes have been finished
with a custom paint job to suit the new team kit, provided by Bio-Racer.
Team Mechanic Dave Coughlin who had the job of building these bikes for the
team has said he hasn't seen a better finished bike. The attention to detail
is second to none and that is clearly why Billato have such a good reputation
throughout Europe.

My best moment on this bike was - Gabby says, 'The best moment on this bike
is yet come, I hope. It was a long cyclo-cross season for me competing in races
all over Europe. Next winter the first world cup is planned to be in America,
so for me I plan to take the early part of the road season nice and steady,
and increase my racing load over the coming months. The team have a lot of major
road races this year including the Tour of Flanders and Tour de L'aude. These
are the most prestigious races for women in the world, so opportunities for
us this year are great.
I would swap it for? - I'd swap it for a World Cyclo-Cross championships..........I
think I'd look good in the Rainbow Jersey!!'
