Evans Cycles trail ride this weekend

The next TrailBreak winter Dual Event Weekend of 2007 is coming up this weekend! On Saturday (10th), is the next Evans Cycles trail ride and on Sunday (11th) the next Navigator Race of the winter both take place from Woodcote in Oxfordshire.

Join the SheCycles ride at the Saturday Evans Cycles Trail Rides, come and ride with the SheCycles team, get the lowdown on the world of womens cycling and enjoy a great day out on trails in good company! Email bex@shecycles.com to confirm your attendance and have a look at the TrailBreak website.

Test a women specific saddle

Bex will bring along the SheCycles Saddle Demos so you can test a new saddle before having to buy one. Check out the Saddle Demo range on offer. If you'd like to test a saddle turn up at the start line at 9.30 and bring a multitool, Bex will help you fit it amd set up the right position.

Details

When and where: Saturday 22nd July, Woodcote Village Hall, Woodcote (north of Reading, Berkshire).

Getting there: Woodcote is approx. 8 miles north west of Reading off the A4074, with good access from the M4, M40 or A34. The event will be signed from the A4074 into Woodcote village.

Access by public transport: The nearest railway station is at Goring & Streatley, 3 miles away.

Ride Distances: To be confirmed.Typical Trail Ride distances are (approx); Short route- 15 miles (24k); Standard route - 25 miles (40k); Long route - 30 miles (50k).

The SheCycles.com ride leaves at 9.45 - we'll meet at the start line look our for Bex in the SheCycles jersey!

Prices and booking: In advance, Short route £9.00, Standard route £10.00, Long route £11.00. Advance booking via the web will close on Thursday afternoon. Click here to book online. Entry on the day is £2.00 extra per person.

Dear All,

My Other Half and I are planning a off-road ride around our favourite local bits of the North Downs. It will start from Redhill Train Station at 11am on March 11th. If you are interested, drop me an line and I'll email you more details.

Expect a mixture of singletrack, broad tracks, fireroad, mud, a few loose sections and some quiet roads too. One monster of a downhill - our favourite in the area.

There will be the ability to split the group if needs be plus bake in pub stops. The total length is around 18 miles with 600m of climbing.

For the more observant amongst you, this is the same ride as the thread posted by Twiglet_Monster on Singletrack.

Hope some of you can make it.
