We catch up with some of the girls as they prepare for the tough competition at Revolution 10 and ask what it's like to be a 'Future Star'. We'll have full interviews with the girls next week, but for now, here are their thoughts on the upcoming tenth round of Revolution.
Lucy Richards - Age 16
At the age of 16, Lucy has put in an amazing performance for the Welsh team and has achieved great things on the track this year. This is her first year of riding the Revolution series and already she's ridden to victory against the other girls in the 'Future Stars' competition.
How were you approached to ride this year's Revolution?
We went to Revolution as part of the Wales Youth Development Team. We were also lucky that my coach, Courtney Rowe, took a team to represent my club, Cardiff Ajax, and with other members of Wales Talent Team riding there was a strong Welsh presence.
Tell us a bit about your first 'Revolution' experience.
I didn't really know what to expect so I just
went there to have fun and have a good night's racing, I certainly didn't
expect to do so well. The atmosphere in there - from the crowd - just makes
it so different to any other type of racing I've ever done, the crowd really
get behind you and support you. It is some the best racing I've ever done.
Alex Greenfield - Age 15
Alex, along with Lucy, rides for Wales and is following closely behind her team mate in the Revolution results. At just 15, Alex has a great strength on the track which has led to some impressive results for her in recent years.
How were you approached to ride this year's Revolution?
My club coach, Courtney Rowe, and the Wales Talent Team coach, Stuart MacDonald asked me to ride this year. I was very happy to accept.
Tell us a bit about your first 'Revolution' experience.
I rode Revolution 6 and 8 last year with some success. It was daunting at first with such a big crowd but as soon as I got into the racing I loved it. It was unbelievable and brilliant.
Sophie Terry - Age 14
Interbike RT's Sophie Terry is one of the youngest riders to ride at a Revolution event. This is her first year at a Revolution and we can expect to see more impressive performances from this young rider in the future.
How were you approached to ride this year's Revolution?
I was approached to ride this year's Revolution because of Bryan Taylor. I wanted to do it so I talked to him about it and he put my name down to ride for the South East Division.
Tell us a bit about your first 'Revolution' experience.
Revolution was a great experience, just being there felt good. I really enjoyed it and it was nothing like the previous track races. I was very nervous before my first race because of the crowd but once I started racing I was fine.
Gabriella Coates - Age 16
Gabriella is representing the South East Division at this year's Revolution and is going from strength to strength both on and off the track. Again, we can expect to see great things from this rider.

Although I watched revolution 6 in December last year, which didnt help my nerves riding it this time round as the atmosphere was amazing. It was my first big crowd race, so I was really nervous, and the crowd did seem to lift the racing. The racing seemed much more aggressive than I have previously experienced, the bunch was really tightly packed and there was a lot of bashing and collisions, but no crashes, which shows how everyone has developed as riders.
