Cycle Yorkshire - new women's courses

Cycle Yorkshire are running a womens only intermediate mountain bike course on March 18th at the St-Ives Estate, Bingley in Yorkshire. Have a look at the reports about the courses that we've attended.

They will also be running a demo day on the 1st April for Chevin Cycles,Cheld at Chevin Forest Park, Otley. There will be plenty of bikes available including Trek, Cannondale, and Marin. Women specific bikes will be available too so it will be worth the trip and some good terrain to test the bikes on too.

Planning a mountain bike ride this Sunday 11/2/7, women only, from Embsay near Skipton in Yorkshire over Barden Moor. Depart from Embsay village car park, meet 10.30 for 11am departure. The ride is about 20k and is basically steep road to start, followed by a good bridleway for about 8 k mainly undulating across heather moorland and then 30 minutes or so of bone jangling with an exciting bit of descent followed by 5km on the busy Grassington to Skipton road turning off to go back to Embsay.
