Joolze Dymond reports from the damp but exciting racing at round 3 of the Marin Winter Series, Sunday 11th Feb 2007
Despite the horrendous weather conditions on the lead up to race day, plus a less than welcome wet start to the day itself, 41 hardy ladies, a healthy 10% of the overall field lined up to take part in the last round of the popular Marin Winter series.
Ruth Owen-Evans, made it 3 wins out of 3 to take the overall title in the 2hr race. While Minx girl, Jenn Hopkins just rode away from the competition on her trusty singlespeed to take a comfortable win in the 4hr section.
