Core Bike 2007 - part 1

Core Bike brings together a number of cycle distributors and is open to the trade only.

Rebecca (Our production Guru, writer and track rider) and I strolled through the corridors and rooms of Whittlebury Hall, and these are some of the bikes and bits that stood out. We thought you might like a quick peek now and we will feature all in greater detail at a later stage,

New to us is Simplon an Austrian company that shifts lots of bikes in Germany, which is now looking to make an impact in the UK.
ATB Sales had the latest Whyte E5 on show. We know from talking to riders at Beastway, that the UK orientated bike is much loved in the mud.

Star of the Show was the Ferrari Colnago. Would you ride it or hang it on the wall? Me? I would ride it!

We tend to forget that if friends Colnago and Ferrari hadn't got to together in the 70s the carbon bike craze may never have happened

The Kinesis KR 810, weighed less than Upgrade said
It took two years for the Kinesis KR 810 to find life, the first year's feedback saw changes made to the geometry and they worked to get it right.
