Climb On announces new race team

climbon2007_team_lo (12K)

Climb On's race team manager Paul Davis and a couple of spangly bikes

Hereford-based Climb On Bikes runs a successful race team - they sent us a big long list of 2006 podium places which we're not going to reproduce here, but suffice to say that there's a lot of them across XC, endurance and multisport events.

For 2007 the team will be supported by Giant (bikes and clothing), Specialized (helmets, shoes and optics) and Endura (clothing), along with local sponsors Redline Communications, Hereford Self Drive, CSS Online and David Lowe Contracting.

As well as new sponsors there'll be a couple of new riders too. Joining the team will be Paul Gibbons and Sara Randle, with Ben Dale, Phil Mason, Tracy Miles, Warren Miles, Luke Moseley, Paula Moseley, Fran Mundy, Jules Toone, Andy Weaving and Kate Wheeler continuing with the team from 2006.

Most of the riders will be on Giant XTC C1 carbon composite hardtail frames, with the endurance racers using 90mm travel Anthem full suspension bikes. Climb On's riders will give the team representation in Elite, Expert, Sport, Master and Veteran XC categories and they'll be fielding teams, paris and soloists at endurance events - watch out for them at the Specialized/Giant Challenge Series; British MTB Series (XC and marathons); EnduroPlus; Mountain Mayhem; Bontrager Twentyfour12; Sleepless in the Saddle; National XC Champs; National Marathon Champs and Dusk til Dawn.
