WCRA CycloCross Champs - date announced

We've just heard the WCRA CycloCross Championships will take place on Sunday 11th February 2007 at South Common, Lincoln. The closing date for entries is 27th January so be quick and get your entry in as there are no entries on the line this year.

The same event will also host the British Universities Champs and BSCA Champs plus there will be supporting races for Veterans and Juniors too.

How to enter: send cheques to J Cotton, 15 Vindex Close, St Georges Park, Lincoln LN1 1AH

Deadline: entires must be received by 27th January...don't delay!

Entries cost £10 for WCRA members or £13 for non-members

The first race is at 10am and the WCRA Champs will be in the afternoon.

Hiya Im not sure what bike to get, I was originally looking for a hybrid then i saw these loveley styled bikes which i thought would fit the bill. Though in the bike shop they said they they are not really designed for roads and they would be quite hard work to ride, do any of you ride them. Initially i am commuting on it though have been invited on a group ride with a club. Also Im not sure on the size any suggestions on what works for any of you would be appreciated
