More info about the CTC
As the UK's national cyclists' organisation, CTC has been protecting and promoting the rights of cyclists since 1878. CTC is a not-for-profit organisation that is funded through its membership and donations in return for support. By joining CTC you are supporting UK cycling and giving us a louder voice when campaigning locally and nationally on the issues that are important to you.
So if you are someone who would like to spend more time on two wheels, or simply support cycling in the UK, join CTC for as little as £12 per year and we can help you get the most out of your cycling.
Increasing numbers of people are looking for environmentally-friendly or charitable presents, and CTC's new gift membership helps to fund vital charitable work like developing cycle training for adults and children, and campaigning for all cyclists' rights.
This year has seen record numbers supporting CTC campaigns; with over 11,000 signing up to fight changes to the Highway Code which would have proved detrimental to cyclists and many more supporting CTC's defence of Daniel Cadden, who was convicted of 'inconsiderate cycling'.
Alongside the many campaign victories this year, other charitable work included the development of cycle training for adults and children.
Membership Development Manager, Matt Mallinder, said “CTC and all its good work relies absolutely on people joining - If you want to do something tangible this Christmas to support the future of cycling in the UK, the most meaningful present you can give is a CTC gift membership.”
