Hi, I just wanted to post a note to say i love my new bike! I have never had a womens specific bike, I always raced on mens! However i decided to buy a road training bike for the winter, FCR2 (Giant) it's got flat bars, so it's much more like my Cannondale Lefty than a road bike. Except it is much lighter and obviously rigid, I just took 30mins off my usual 25 mile loop time on it!
It is obviously does not have top quality components, but i think it's great value for money(£550, got it for £409 from venus cycles, who were most helpful and speedy delivery too..)
If you dont want to wreck your best bike it is a good option!
Oh the brake levers are too far from the bar for us girls, so need some adjusting..
    happy riding
