Kona's new women's specific range of bikes comes with the tag line ' Strong enough for a man, made for a kick-ass woman!'
Sounds good to us but we want to know more about the bikes!

Kona Lisa DS

Kona Lisa HT

Kona Lisa RD
There will be three bikes in the range a full suss and a hardtail mountain bike, and an aluminium framed road bike. Let's start with the Lisa DS, a 4 inch travel all round mtb with Shimano Deore/LX groupset, MArzocchi MZ-3 forks and Fox Float rear shock. Kitted out with a WTB Speed She Sport saddle, Hayes Sole disc brakes and Kona finishing components it's great value for money too at £1000. Sizing is suitably small, starting at 14, 16, 17 and 18".
Hardtail and singletrack lovers will be keen to get astride the Lisa HT £700, a women's version of the hartail rockets that Kona fans already love. The front end has 100mm of travel thanks to the Marzocchi MZ-2 fork, and braking is bound to be reliable with the Hayes HFX-9 hydraulic disc brakes. Frames sizes again start at 14", that equates to comfort for riders in the sub 5ft height range with easy reach to the bars and plenty of standover room that Kona lovers will already be a customed to.
Roadies looking for a women specific steed should be testing out the Lisa RD road bike, the 7005 butted aluminium frame is specc'd with Kona Carbon Race fork and a Shimano 105 9-speed drivetrain. Mavic Aksium wheelset and a Selle Italia Lady saddle finish it off nicely. Priced at £1000 and with frames sizes measured c-c 44, 46, 49, 51 and 53cm there's a bike for everyone.
Loyal Kona riders will now have even more choice and women's parts to chose from!! Hurray!
