Revolution returns on Saturday night at the Manchester Velodrome with an exciting mix of sprint and endurance events guaranteed to provide some superb racing as well as plenty of entertainment.
Headlining the event will be ex pros Andrea Tafi, Franco Ballerini, Rolf Sorensen, Max Sciandri and Silvio Martinello who are returning to competitive action for one night only. These riders are more accustomed to racing on the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix than the boards at Manchester so this will be a unique opportunity to see them in action once more. They will feature in a special roadman's four point pursuit as well as taking on British stars such as Rob Hayles and Chris Newton in a series of endurance events.
For those who like a bit more speed double World Champion Theo Bos will be showing off the rainbow colours along with Team Sprint World Champion Mickael Bourgain and Kilo World Champion Chris Hoy. They will be joined by Jan Van Eijden, Roberto Chiappa, Jamie Staff, Craig MacLean and Jason Queally in what is the strongest sprint line up at any Revolution event.
Revolution 13 will also see the start of the new DHL Exel Supply Chain Future Stars with an exciting new format for this season. As well as racing for individual glory riders will represent one of ten regional teams fighting it out in a national league format to become the inaugural Future Stars Team Champions.

The Cycling Revolution
Revolution was created in 2003 by Face Partnership and the Manchester Velodrome to provide a new style of cycling event in the UK, a style that would focus on action and entertainment to provide a unique night at the races.
Through an action packed alternative race programme over three hours spectators will see Olympic heroes such as Chris Hoy and Bradley Wiggins taking on challenges from some of the best cyclists in the world. The racing is fast and the atmosphere is electrifying with music and lighting effects enhancing the action. With numerous bars, food outlets and attractions around the concourse and in track centre it's not just about the racing as Revolution provides a superb night of entertainment for all the family.
The Revolution is now in its fourth season and with more star riders and a unique theme to each event it continues to attract capacity crowds to the Manchester Velodrome.
