The Aurora is a great looking helmet from Specialized, and one of three helmets in their women specific range. It comes in three sizes, small, medium and large covering a range of 53 to 63cm head sizes.

Retention is good and secure thanks to the PRO Fit system which adjusts easily at the rear by sliding, holding the helmet in pace without adding pressure at the rear or across the forehead. Cooling is well designed, with the large Mouth Port at the forehead to draw air into helmet where it is channelled through In-Line vents and pulled out of the rear to keep the whole head ventilated even in the hottest of climates. In total the Aurora has 23 vents and much of the comfort and style seen in the Pro-level Decibel helmet.
This is a rare price bracket for women's helmets when we usually only see budget models available for women, making the Aurora a welcomed change to the normal price options.
