Evans Cycles hosted a series of Ladies Nights at their Canary Wharf, Brighton, Spitalfields and Manchester stores, women were invited along to have a glass of bubbly and get some advice, a whopping discount on any purchases and win prizes.
Every woman who came along received a goody bag (containing a women's specific T-shirt, bike literature, Keyring, questionnaire, and info on bike insurance from Evans) and were invited to receive 10% off all products they wished to buy on the night. At each event there were experienced women sales assistants who each ride different disciplines to provide first hand advice in all aspects of cycling. Plus throughout the evenings there were mechanical demonstrations on how to change a puncture and a mechanic was on hand to assist with any other bike related queries.

Puncture Repair competition
|
Each event held a challenge, to find the lady who could change a punctured tube the fastest. With a prize of £200 in gift vouchers for the winner there was hot competition. The best times were:
Manchester - Miss Logan (times 1min 05 sec)
Spitalfields - Mystery Lady (2min 58 sec)
Brighton - Miss Martin (1min 14 sec)
Canary Wharf - Ms Bathes (1min 12 sec)
We bet they left the store with bulging bags and wearing big smiles! Don't worry if you couldn't make the events, Evans plan on doing a bunch more and we'll keep you posted on those new dates.
In the meantime we have 20 girly Evans Cycles T-shirts to give away, all you need to do is answer the following question and email your answer to denise.betts@magicalia.com
