Think Pink!
With the resurgence of pink should we be patronised or pleased?

Hi
I don't think that Pink is at all girly. I've got pink Chris King hubs and headset and they've been admired (and coveted) more by the blokes than the girls! Having something different is a great talking point - funnily enough the bikers I know admire them and my 'non biking' friends are the ones that think they are girly! Sarah

Given the amount of pink in the range of Rapha gear (e.g. very covetable black jerseys with pink stripe and black/pink gloves - yummeee), I should think that pink is well on the way back in....for girls or boys

I have a pink bike, it's empowerment !!
I would have loved some Chris King pink spangly bits but it would have made my new bike vvvv expensive.

I recently went riding with a bloke who wore a pink jersey, rode a pink bike and wore a pink helmet. It's not just for girls!
Heck there was a guy at SITS this year wearing the pink minx-girl jersey :-)

My bike was very, very expensive!!! I amanged to get my company to buy it through Cyclescheme so in the end I only pay what my original budget was!

I also have a lovely sparkley pink bike with pink pedals.... I think it gets admired most of the time....I love it when people look at it... what a tart I am!!!

I do think however, as it's not a common make and it can get mistaken for a cheapy ladies bike :0( until they look at the bling on it. :o)

I have a pink time trial bike - it was just a Giant frame and I had it spray painted pink last spring - see picie in my gallery.

I love it, I found a nice pink saddle and bar tape for it too. I would get my mountain bike sprayed pink, but I think it would chip really easily with the battering it gets.

The pink Minx jersey was just topped off by the dodgy beard too!!!

Sorry, but I just don't do pink and resent the fact that much of the WS gear assumes that we all do!

Red is much more my style!

Theres a guy lives near me that has a pink bike, but no beard and pink accesories so not the same one.
I often woner if non-biking people think that my bike is a cheapo which I think is quite funny if they do !

New to this forum but thought I'd refresh this thread as I am looking for the Pinarello F4:13 FP Carbon that looks stunning in black and pink. I cant find anywhere that stocks it though! Do any of you know?
And out of interest it was a bloke who told me about it! Its on the Pinarello web page if anyone else is interested.

Gem ive seen that bike on the website and someone else has seen it in the flesh and told me about it - they said it looks fantastic. Look also do pink frames retail about £900 and £1400 they look classy as well. If your going to the bike show mite be worth asking them there for a stockist.

I have just bought a Sombrio top in two shades of pink & it has pink and white circles on it, they do matching shorts too. love it :-)

We had 3 pink bikes out of about 40 on the club run last week and mine was the only one ridden by a female :-)

I've never liked pink, it clashes with my hair, but recently I had to decide whether to buy a new frame & put my old kit on it or pimp my current bike. I pimped my ride.
