I've been carrying around a silly eyeglasses holder since I have to have my prescription sunglasses and normal glasses with me in summer (grrr). On Hils thread about the tank girl top I saw that company does a 'pooch' that can hold glasses! Is there something like that here? All the holders I've seen for mobiles, etc aren't long enough for my glasses, or don't have a way to attach to my hydrapak strap. This would be such a great thing to have! :) It doesn't actually have to be hardcase (tho it's preferable) since I have a spare pair of normal glasses should some get crushed in a drastic accident.

don't know how big your specs are but I find that the net dispensing bags that come with laundry tablets are really useful for holding lots of relatively small things. I fasten stuff to my backpack using baby karabiners. Have you looked in Decathlon? they might have hard cases or pouches. I've got Adidas sports sunglasses with a prescription insert and interchangeable lenses, so only need a tiny pouch which easily fits into the mobile case - guess that trying to get an all-in-one pair isn't really an option though?

A new pair of glasses isn't financially a good idea right now. Will check out Decathlon tho, that's a good idea.

Talking of cycling glasses, can anyone recommend a pair of clear/changeable lenses which are particularly tiny as I normally have to wear kids' specs during the day and can't find any sports' glasses that are small enough. Any ideas on where i might get them from ... ?

Adidas do sunglasses in two sizes - I have the small size ones. I've got the same problem, most sunglasses are way too big. The Adidas ones are adjustable as well - you can make the nose bridge smaller or bigger.

Tina - have you looked in branches of Black's and other outdoor shops? Might be worth a trip to Covent Garden if not, my brother's pretty sure he's seen specs cases in amongst climbing gear.

Thanks for that. Any idea of the name or make so I know what I'm asking for?
