So who fancies a ride at Rivington?  All the usual fun descents will of course be included and a nice cafe stop at the end.

In Glentress, sorry in case I hadn't metnioned it !

I missed the last one so I'd like to but I'll have to use my hardtail, let me know if that is not recommended!!!

Show/hide user stats

I'll most probably be on my hardtail so you'll be fine.  I have to admit there isn't anything I ride on my full suss I don't ride on my hardtail, probably means I don't ride things I should on my full-suss.

Be great if you joined us missgroover, I can promise a reasonable length ride.

Absolutely nothing that a hardtail can't cope with round Rivi, I very rarely ride my full-suss round there as it makes things too easy and I don't change my line choice to suit the bike though the consequences of that choice can be different because of the bike! The "cobbles" are more comfortable ridden on a full-suss but that is about it.

We are most likely going to be away then I think unfortunately.

Marvellous.  I'll pencil it in

What time would you be planning to meet at?
Show/hide user stats
What time suits people?  I know treehugger was planning on coming.  It takes me an hour to ride over so I'll go with what suits people who are travelling.

It'll be about a 2.5hr drive for me, am happy to leave home 7.30ish to be there 10ish but best allow a bit of time to get lost and navigate the floods......

So shall we say 10:30am meet?

Show/hide user stats
Weather forcast I've seen is just for a little rain but not much!  So I'll pack all my waterproofs so it stays away.

whats the rides distance & accents Trio?
Show/hide user stats
Have a nice day I would love to have come and met those of you I don't know. Hope you enjoy 'our backyard'.

I'll assess the husband and dog situation and see if I'm allowed out to play!

Distance will depend on how long we want to ride for, the advantage of rivi is everything is very close together, I'm guessing we'll ride for 3-4hours.  All the climbs are short and sharp type things, so easy enough even if you end up walking some of them.  I'm sure you'll have no problems ads.
