Yep - can confirm that Llandegla was inside a cloud yesterday!! I got drenched...

Gwyn - we keep missing each other

Well it was pretty wet in Lancs yesterday morning, but after an early shower there's some sun now.

Remember being in the top north west corner under rain for a fortnight whilst the rest of the country basked in the hottesst 2 weeks of the year, a few years back.

Good luck with the midges, always said I would never make spy, would only have to be put on a scottish midge infested moor and I would soon talk, still bearing with scar of a new forest one, nearly 4 weeks later. I really sympathise.

Anyone else sick of having a soggey a*se? It's too hot for waterproof shorts.

We spent two weeks in Dumfries and then a week in Wales and it rained every day except three. I will never go on holiday without my winter boots again.

Been back at work a week & Doncaster seems to be mainly sunny. I want a job where I only have to work when it's raining.

Yep I want a job like that too!  Birmingham is having its first bit of sun since last weekend and I'm so fed up with it.  My mate is travelling in Oz at the moment and said even though it's winter it is far from cold and wet, if I weren't so skint I'd go and join her
