Ros mentioned a few weeks ago on the 'peak district rides' that there was slot for this weekend.

So I thought we haven't ridden this part of the world for ages. Fitness is needed, because the ups are steep, downs are longish and rocky with  fields, lanes and great views too ( if the weather's nice).

Meet at Trentababank carpark, above Sutton and Langley, by the visitor centre, past the reservoir.

This is a pay and display carpark, if it's full either park in the overflow or on the road. 

Anyone interested?  I thought  10.30a.m.  Ride is approx 3-41/2 hours depending on pace.  We can add on or cut short if needs be.

Partners are welcome, as long as they realise the pace will be a little slower ( me mainly) than they're used to. 

We're away that weekend in the North East, plus not very fit  (though I was going to die at Llandegla last week) so it's a no on two counts for me and the Mr sadly.

Off topic, but have you got a map for the ride we did back in May or whenever it was ? Am off work for a while and as my fitness has gone downhil due to being off work I could do with a few flat but long-ish rides to get me fit again

I think I will postpone this ride as there are no takers.

Will be riding with some frends now instead who are oop north for next weekend.
