Other half is going away for a weeks holiday.

So im free for a week

ride bikes of course!

Why dont you have a holiday yourself? Surely you can tag on with someone OR just have a few days total R & R somewhere hot with a few books?

Darren was away recently and I slept in the middle of the bed everynight, had great food, chilled out and just enjoyed being in a clutter free, clean tidy house

Would love to have a holiday at the moment, but due to work/family commitments i cant.

Thats a good point, king size bed to myself

Thats what has happened to me this week. So I've been up to Glentress for three days stoppin in t' big posh 'otel. Then down to Wales on Friday for three days. Only problem is I have no mechanic and my shock needs a bit of air in and he's taped it up and said "don't touch it"...mmmm...dilema....

Did someone say party?

My other half is away this week. I have found stilton and wine very comforting.  Plus I have watched NCIS, House and Family Guy uninterrupted - marvellous!

Ah and you didn't go. Too technical? Thats why I'm not in Les Arcs.

Ive ridden some techinical stuff over there, but its the steepness of the descents i dont like.

Yep it does nothing for me heading downhill for three hours, just hinkg of the cost to the brakes

I thought verbier was fab cos you can do lots of different stuff...Lucy gave me some one on one re the decents and its was so worth whikle... not afraid anymore.  Riding with blokes was tough in that terrain though I really was the back marker.

I managed to burn my front pads out one day... stopped cooled em down..swapped for the back and carried on... oh and managed to get a disk burn for my troubles.

I'm off to Russia skydiving next week if you fancy that

Pootle, it's the perfect excuse to go shopping - think of all the stuff you've resisted buying. Surely you need something more comforting than wine & cheese.
