Hi everyone,

I'm sure there will probably be a thread somewhere about this, but can anyone recommend an insurer for my pride and joy?

Am insured through pavillion at the mo and my cover runs out in July. The policy is specifically for my MTB. I heard M&S is good?

Any advice?

Cheers,
Becks

I think M&S is only if you are putting it on your house insurance but I am not sure??

Mine are insured with Nationwide, but also on house insurance policy.

Is it an extra on house insurance, or just the bike?

Mine are through the house insurance with M&S, only one that didn't add loads to the price now that we have quite a few bikes.

We had ours insured through M&S on the house & contents insurance after recommendations on here. But recently had our renewal through and it had rocketed sky high (even though we've never claimed). OH did some research and we ended up getting buildings cover with another insurer and contents with M&S. Loads cheaper and still have fab cover for the bikes!

Next best, we found, was Tesco for offering decent cover on expensive bikes (x 5!)

Hi Beckster,

Did you get sorted with the Insurance?  I've just purchased a new bike today and am looking for some, my house Ins only covers bikes up to £500 and it's got a £100 excess.

Best site I've come up with so far seems to be this one:-
