Hello all,
I have been mountain biking for a few years now so happily now my way around all the kit etc. associated with that, but I recently moved to Innsbruck (Austria) and with all the snow that's still around my former commuting bike (Giant SCR3) is becoming the preferable option for biking... on the road (obviously).
The problem is I don't really know much about how roadbikes should be set up, in particular what sort of angle is best for the handlebars, and what are the benefits of the different hand positions? Is there any good websites/books to guide me on this?
Also what sort of clothing is best for alpine riding? At the moment I just go along the valley as I haven't quite worked out the best options for going over the passes because I get pretty hot going up and on the one ride I did before the snow was absoluately freezing going down!
And do I really need to take my peak of my helmet!?!
Thankyou!!
