Dunno whether anyone can help me here but thought this as good a starting point as any!!  Am based in North Wales and am wanting to try and hook up with some mb people.  My normal biking cronies are being useless and non commital so am taking matters into my own hands as don't want a similar year to last year where didn't do much with the bike!!  Quite happy doing all the normal man made trails around here but nice to get off the beaten track a bit as well so quite happy doing/going wherever!

If anyone can help, just shout!!

You sound in a similar position to me, I only ever rode with my bloke but then he got involved in other stuff and our riding tailed off so I started posting on here in the New Year and have done a few rides and met some nice people. 

I have posted a Llandegla visit in the rides section for 20th April, you are welcome to join us.  I am Birmingham based but due to the lack of decent trails like to visit N Wales so am always open to suggestions

That sounds brill.  Will pencil in diary for 20th.   Gives me time to get bike overhauled aswell as been a bit ropey of late so will be primed and ready to go!!

Sounds like you've met a nice bunch of folk which is great.  Somebody put me up to the idea of posting on this ages ago but I didnt do anything about it until now when I decided that time to stop moaning and do something!!!

What do you tend to do at Llandegla?  Do you ride a couple of times between a lunch stop or what??

I'm based in North Shropshire so ride Cannock Chase, North Wales areas mostly.  Happy to meet up for rides and can't wait to do Landegla as haven't managed to get there yet and heard it's really good.

Oh my god, am struggling not to swear blue murder at this bloody computer.   Keeps losing my message. 

So deep breath, third time lucky!!

Am based Abergele so dead handy for most trails.  Am quite keen to eventually try and get a regular week night ride in as nights get a little easier as well as some weekend stuff.  My new years resolution was to try and do some races this year so want to get cracking with the bike fitness as not done any races for a couple of years now !! When I say 'race' i mean it in the loosest possible sense!!!

Would be good to meet all for weekend ride first and can maybe chat about a regular week night and whether would work and anybody keen.

Am so impressed with this forum thing, thought would post a note and nobody reply so thank you all.......  Willl hopefully catch up with you April 20 ride Llandegla

Another 'north wales resident' - although I'm a bit further west - in the mountains above Waunfawr. Happy to travel eastwards to meet up for a ride. I'm going to try and make it to Llandegla on the 20th so hopefully meet some of you there.
