Oh ha ha! SITS solo? Despite the training mileage you've got us on I don't think that is any sort of idea of a taper? And if I'm doing it solo you're doing it solo on a single speed, no wait fixed, no wait blinfolded unicycle while juggling........... In all seriousness, maybe next year?!

 Im planning on doing it.... last years was my first 24hour event and I had a ball... sitting in the traffic on the M40 after someone rather inconsiderately shot some biker dude I didnt love so much... expecially since my buddies were all snoring away in the back of the van and I hadnt slept for over 48 hours!...and i hadnt booked the monday off work... ooops... Went onto the Kona site to enter for Bristol Bike Fest and the SITS entry forms were not up but you can register for them to email you when they are. Lets hope the weather holds... it was mostly good last year... except it rained between 2 and 4 am when I was on my night laps and everyone else was in bed... they didnt believe me when they got up as it stopped just as I got back!... i had injuries to prove it.... (note to self... take selection of tyres)

Thanks for all the replies. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Did it last year in a mixed team and was awesome. I wasn't riding when the heavens opened-bonus! Roll on the 9th/10th.

Hello (again!) I'm looking to pair up this year (probs 2 girls) at the sleepless, however the partner I had has bailed. Is anyone out there looking for a riding partner/team? I was in a mixed team last yr and fancy a bit more of a challenge this year. Any takers??!! Cheers Jen

I just emailed another lady in my club to ask if she wanted to do a pairs and a couple of friends were trying to tell me its easier to do solo than pairs.... mmmm... so if I dont get a positive response from my club rider then I would be up for a pair.
