We've created a new CLINIC section here in the forum to make it quicker and easier for you to post messages for Kim.

When you've got a new question, instead of entering it in 'CHAT' simply start a new thread here in the 'CLINIC' section.

So fire away all with those nagging questions and know you'll get a straight forward and professional answer to help you get the most out of your riding and training.

fantastic! It'll make it much easier to find Kim's responses too...

Hi, I wonder if you can give me some advice. I came off my bike twelve days ago during a race and landed full whack on my bum! I've displaced the third part of my coccyx - had x-ray. Very painful to sit down and lay on my back - feels like there may be a haematoma on the sacral area. I've been seen by a Sports Injury Dr and he tried to relocate the coccyx but not successfully and will try again soon when less painful. He's talked about injecting the area with a steroid but I'm not so sure.

I would like to try massage to try to disperse any haematoma and hopefully speed up recovery. Feeling very frustrated as not been on my bike since! Plan to try turbo in next couple of days.

Have you come across many injuries like this and what would you advise??

Hi...apparently I have a bulging disk in my lower back, putting pressure on my sciatic nerve which causes pain down my right leg. Have been having physio for 3 months - improved but still there! Feeling really frustrated now as it's impeding my cycling and I'm itching to get going again! Any advice please?! Thanks.
