Got a problem with broken nipples!!!

The sort that go on the end of your spokes of course. I've had a load replaced, but they're all really badly corroded and basically I'll need both wheels rebuilt.

Wondering if it's really worth getting this done, or whether I should just get myself some shiny new ones. Anyone got any recommendations? Would really like something that's comparable to what's on there now. But as they're GT Swiss ones made especially for Specialized (It's a 2007 Stumpjumper FSR Comp) I'm not sure exactly what that is.

Wheels are pretty reasonable to buy fully built nowadays... check out the usual chain reaction and wiggle web sites. Dont ask me what to buy tho...i had some custom built(because i ride 29") using hope pro twos and mavic. personally i dont think you can go wrong with mavic rims...

Well, I had decided to go with the replace option, gutted at missing the sun today and didn't want to risk missing it again tomorrow, but nowhere local seems to want to stock replacement wheels (not any less than 200 squids each anyways)

So I'm still wheelless - boo hoo, means the weather is sure to be excellent tomorrow. Enjoy it everybody.
