Just been diagnosed as having Carpel Tunnel Syndrome in my left hand   Been suffering for a while with pins and needles and dropping things (At least I know now that I'm not just clumsy!)

Was wondering if anyone has suffered with it recently and how it was treated? My Dad had an op for it recently, but hard to judge what to do as he's 70 and I'm 37! All friend who have had the op had it 15 or 20 years ago and things have moved on........

Seems I may be offered splints to sleep in, but wondered if anyone has tried these and with what success? Should I push to have the op if it's offered? How long before I can cycle? Help!!

Any advice/comments gratefully received
