has anyone else dislocated their shoulder? How long should I wait before using my road bike again?

One of my Muddy@rsers dislocated their shoulder on a ride earlier this year (very scarey) luckily it popped back in when he tried to stand up. He completed the ride (11 miles of singletrack on North Downs) and then proceeded to have 2/3 weeks off the bike, I think he had a little bit of an adrenalin surge at the time !! Haven't done it myself but I know it's painful so take care and don't rush back too soon...

My Boyfriend was just off the bike for a while after a dislocated shoulder. Shoulder was imobilised for 4 weeks and then another 2 or 3 weeks before he was back on the bike.

Take it easy...
