Is anyone going to the event at Grizedale on sunday? There a group of 5 of us going from the Manchester area.

daft question but how much are they to enter?

looking at doin either the 25km or 45 at the may 13th at Gwydyr forest. cant seem to see where it tells you prices.

£15 I picked up a leaflet somewhere that had the prices. Might come and do that one as well.

There are demo bikes at the Gwydyr event too, including women specific bikes. Does that interest you? They are FOC to test out on the specially designed test track.

I'm just back from the Grizedale event and it was a really good event. The weaher wasn't kind as it rained all day! There was seven of us there who knew each other, 5 of us set off to do the 45k, I was riding with ali and at 25k she decided she wasn't fit enough not a suprise as she's onoly been back riding about a month. I carried on when I got back the people told me I was the only one of our group who had completed the 45k, apparently a lot of people took the easy way out due to the weather. I really enjoyed the route though it was really well sign posted and mostly ridebale - and would have all been in the dry. Think I'll try and get to another of the events.

Next one is 12th May, who's coming?

Can't make this one as I'm up at Penrith for the Merida. Wish I could as I loved the event at Grizedale.

Just back from the Gwydyr event. Had a great time trying out full-sus bikes. Only problem now is I fell in love with the Specialized D4W Stumpy so now need to find rather a lot of money to purchase one - doh! Knew it was a bad idea really! Had the pleasure of meeting Bex there too who was going snap happy! Really enjoyable day and a really nice community of very friendly people.
