well, lost 8lb on my drop in session (tomorrow is the proper 2 hr thingy), am so chuffed, have managed double spin etc, do find that I sweat a lot more did anyone else? Have three cold sores on my face but i know they will go soon. The only other thing is (its a bit personal) as i seem to be sweating more the chamois cream and padded shorts don't seem to work and I am getting sores in the nether regions any advice, I have started to use sudo cream...

At this point in time you're only taking in the minimum amount of calories and you're also detoxing your system so as a result things will take longer to heal - I had cold for 2 months whilst on the diet.
Can't give you advice on sudo cream maybe someone else can help
Please be careful on this diet with exercising for reasons stated above

yep noted can only about 10 miles off road at the moment then I completely bonk, went to swinley and really suffered it took me two hours to warm up after (i really feel the cold now!). Have decided to try to get out on the road bike for a few rides as may find that easier...

Hi Gayle, you do feel the cold a bit more but keep wrapped up and you will be OK. I did feel colder but when you start eating again everything returns to normal. Personally, I didn't get any illnesses so can't comment there and I didn't sweat more.
Anyway, you feel the cold when you are thinner so best you get used to it now:-) I can honestly say tho that anything you feel now will go when you are returning to food. I have still kept my 4 stone off and at the weekend did two rides totalling 55 miles off road. I got up every hill bar one which had a little push involved and I wouldn't have been able to do that when I was fat. Keep up the good work it will be worth it. CJ

Well done Gayle that is fantastic news ! You are losing better than I did in that time, keep up the good work and remember to pace yourself when out on your bike. Your body will tell you what you can & can;t do but doing something is a lot better than doing nothing. It will also keep you toned, I did pilates as well while I was losing and then helped keep all of my body toned so I had no flabby bits, oh and moisturise as often as possible.

Gayle
There are various ways of eating 'those packs'
One is to make crips by making a paste with the soups and then putting a spoon full on a plate and dinging it in the microwave. It's a bit trial and error but at least you can have a nibble whilst on nights.

oooh i will have try that, have done the hot drinks and adding coffee to them mousse is rank so its always trial and error how long do you micro wave them for?? anymore tips, am so please i have gone from 16 -18 to 14, got into my dress for the ball in saturday which was amazing

I did my crisps for 1 min on 800watt. Get a piece of teflon/silicone baking sheet which is washable and reusable. The 'crisp' will peel off easy and you can cool it and eat. I really liked the crisps made a change to have something with texture. I used to do all the drinks hot too, especially raspberry for breakfast and only used the bars when out cycling cos they werent my favourite, although I have made soup of the trail and taken our little cooker. Well done for your loss though, I bet you feel really motivated to keep going. Looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks ..
