Well I was meant to of done the 75k, but at the split off point i decided to have a go at the 140k, it the hardest thing ive ever done, never want to see any cobbles again, so in total yesterday i rode 103 miles, including ride out to the start and back to hotel

Well done Pootle that is really impressive. 103miles is a long way!!! How long did it take you?

I imagine the cobbles are hard work on a road bike!

Yep a long way, im a tired pootle today, bike is tucked up in the car whilst i sit in the bar watching the pros do the tour of flanders on the telly

Oh ride time was just under 9 hrs, and the weather was cold and very wet, which i think made it so much harder

having watched the pros walking up some of the climbs last night I am even more impressed. In answer to your question pootle I won't be there next year as I don't think I could do it!
