i wasn't around on sunday when the snow was around but we went for a mammoth mtb ride yesterday. the mud was epic and now my bike is trashed, bah.

I only brought my roadie Claire, but I will next time. Will be down in May next I think. I've decided if I lived there I would need a cross bike.

Definetly Claire, you need to get one, as I was cycling round the lanes I couldn't help but notice loads of bridleways that were just muddy paths, perfect for a cross bike. You could link roads and bridleways and cover a lot of mileage. Good thing about riding in cambridge is I'm faster than I am up here.
