Just been reading on Singletrack that some people cheated. Now I know that anyone that I knew would not have done that. I now realise whilst I was on the second run (I think, it's all a blur now!) I saw two very fit looking blokes nip up the run route which would have taken a mega chunk out of the route. I niavely thought they had got lost. I think thats disgusting. I am new to this events malkarky but I would have reported them. I just don't get it at all

I'd like to say well done to those of you on here as I know you'll have done it all.

I did notice one or two blokes lurking till I'd past I thought they proabaly wanted a wee stop !!

There are some photos on  www.olivercoatsphotographer.co.uk.

Saw loads of K8to, Trio , Ros and  Gavin. though non of my team or most of my other  friends.

I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't taken too seriously and had a sort of 'home made' feel, which some of these big sponsored events lack.

I did enjoy my one lap although I was grumbling about the mud, but hey I wasn't the only one

I stopped when a young chap came off right infront of me in the chicken run for the bomb hole. It was quite an innocent looking fall but he clearly had hurt his ankle. Now I know he was stretchered off because I saw him later (much later! Ambulance lost I think).  On the other forums it says some one had their bone sticking out and was carried out of the bombhole is this one and the same and it's been subject to an urban myth?? Or were there two suspected broken legs? Just wondering how the young chap is I didn't see any sticking out bones !!

Oh that's awful.

Heard there was one broken leg and one broken collar bone and loads of sprains and bruises.

Sorry the photos should have read: www.olivercroftphotographer.co.uk

Probably the young lad then and as far as I saw definitely no sticky out bones !! He was very unlucky if he did break his leg as his foot got caught in his handlebars but apart from that he just slid down in the mud it didn't look like he would have been hurt at all.

Well done to all of you!!!  I had vaguely thought of going - but now glad I didn't

And I've just realised I work with Gavin, RosB's husband - small world!!
