Sorry been holidaying - yep count me in for the italian and the campsite nr whinlatter. I'll bring the bigger tent - is a comfy two man tunnel. Will be driving up from NWales leaving about 5pm friday so proably arrive about 8pm, staying at campsite friday and saturday night. Is that OK with your booking Pootle? Haven't ridden for a while (and I need to look at my brakes when I get back to Wales), so I don't know what I'll be doing on the saturday.... Lou.

Just checking that no one has any objections to being gatecrashed by my other half - he says he'll prob do his own thing on the Saturday and join in with the group ride on Sunday. We don't frequent the Lakes and so he doesn't want to miss his chance of trying some of the MBR routes!

Have you all sorted your route out for saturday yet? What time do u think we should start the ride on sunday, or should we see what time we leave the italian, and what state we are all in?

According to my bf we are going anyway - I'm to ring the campsite today and if there is a half decent chance of anchoring a tent we're off as planned... Does that sound dodgy to anyone else as it sure does to me!

I have little intention of going myself. I will ring site at lunch but think will tell him indoors it's a non starter - it's going to p*** it down all day on Saturday too. I'd rather ride closer to home so there's somewhere to get properly dry!
