hey hope everyone enjoyed the race and there were no bad injuries.  I appear to be covered in bruises, and have a big bag full of muddy kit to wash.  Think I prefer SITS as far as courses go, as it's still all rideable when it's pissing with rain.  Feel like I did a fair bit of bike lugging especially at around 3am.  Still, in a strange sort of way I really enjoyed the mud lap, as it was just so ridiculous with everyone trying to drag their bikes up the off camber rooty sections.

liked your pics Ali, that Kenda climb looks super steep from the angle that you took the pics from the top.  Might have to drop wayne a line as he's in a few of them.

hiya trio, I think we did ok.  I did 4 laps, although one of those took just over 2hrs, I think we did 17 in total, not sure where we came but I think we were around 47th last time I checked the score board, but didn't check at the end, strangely.

How did yours and Ali's team get on?

No I didn't check at the end, my team did 12 laps in total so we knew we were well out of it.  I did 5 laps altogether, think my longest was just over an hour and a half when I was dragging my bike round

Ali was in treehuggers team, think that a lot of them didn't enjoy it, I know Ali hated the course!

Nope - but I did manage to get a ridiculously sunburnt face in the process of picture-taking.  With a lovely stripe across my forehead where the buff came down to!
