But depending on how seriously you take your riding and racing you might like to have a look at www.xcracer.com, as a lot of serious racer types seem to hang out on there?
which is not to say there are no serious racers on here of course, just that on average we tend to be rather more social, and less likely to admit to training
I'm not too far from you (Peterborough is an hour north of M25) and am always up for doing team stuff. However, just like Brozza says, I'm not not uber fit or serious and tend to do stuff for the enjoyment rather than ultra competitive like!
I'm going to try cyclone MTB club this sunday (thanks helsbels!).
I'm not that 'serious' either, but I just like some good fun and pace. Vick, I'm going to check on a map where is Peterborough to have a better idea and will get in touch with you soon to arrange something, not this sunday, then next week-end I'll be in the Isle of Wight. But if you ride during the week too, then I'm on half term holiday from 26th May. Good thing to be a teacher..!!
